Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Your first visit will be a psychiatric evaluation. Questions will be asked to get an understanding of your current symptoms, past symptoms, and current personal circumstances. Past treatment history, medical and family history will be reviewed as well. Also, current or past medications and treatments will be determined. The goal will be to get a comprehensive understanding of you in order to make an accurate diagnosis and develop a treatment plan we can work on together.

Follow Up Appointments

If medication is prescribed for you, we will schedule follow up appointment to determine whether the medication is effective, how you are tolerating the medication, and if the dosage needs adjustment or the medication changed. We will continue to have a dialogue to make sure you continue with optimal treatment.

Therapy Referral

Many patients who are seen by me may also benefit from seeing a therapist for psychotherapy. I can make referrals to help you locate the appropriate therapist for your situation.
